TORONTO, Canada – On November 3rd the ‘Gemini Industry Awards’ gala was held, honoring Canada’s best. Clé Bennett took home one of the coveted awards. The talented artist won ‘Best Performance by an Actor’ in a featured supporting role for the CBC miniseries ‘GUNS’.
Clé will walk the Red Carpet on Saturday, November 13th when the ’25th Anniversary Gemini Awards’ is telecast from Toronto. Clé will join Canada’s industry elite at the marquee awards show, as both a presenter and nominee for the evening.
It’s been non-stop busy for the popular artist, with a role in the feature film, ‘Barney’s Version’ starring Paul Giamatii and Dustin Hoffman, his performances on Global TV’s ‘Shattered’, the new hit Showcase series ‘Lost Girl’, upcoming features on CBC’s ‘The Republic of Doyle’, A&E’s ‘Breakout Kings’, CTV’s ‘The Listener’, Hallmark’s ‘The Night Before The Night Before Christmas’ as well as Clé’s 2010 Gemini nominated role of Carlos Powell in HBO’s ‘The Line’.
Clé Bennett’s reputation as a serious performer extends beyond TV, Feature Film and Theatre. The versatile actor is well known for his voice-over work, (Coca-Cola, Ford, Wrigley’s) and animated programs, (‘Total Drama’ franchise for Teletoon, CBC’s Razzberry Jazzberry Jam).
